Situada en las colinas occidentales del Condado de Sonoma, las denominaciones Russian River Valley y Sonoma Coast son unos microclimas perfectos para el cultivo del Chardonnay y el Pinot Noir. El Océano Pacífico, a sólo 16 y 10 km, ejerce su influencia con las brisas frescas y nieblas marinas. Por eso Marimar Torres eligió este lugar privilegiado, 80 km. al norte de San Francisco, para transmitir a California el legado de la familia Torres: la elaboración de grandes vinos.
Viñedo
"Empezamos a experimentar en el año 2000 con algunas parcelas de la viña, antes de dar el paso en 2003 de cultivar orgánicamente la totalidad del viñedo", explica la fundadora de la bodega, Marimar Torres. "La idea es crear un equilibrio ideal entre las cepas y la naturaleza. El viñedo será más sano ecológicamente y la uva será de mejor calidad. Ésta es nuestra recompensa a largo plazo."
