Bodega Valbusenda

Valbusenda is a family project that arises in 2003 thanks to his passion for wine, under the Toro denomination of origin.

Valbusenda Winery opened its doors in December 2008, in a setting that bears his name and has as protagonist the Douro River, found a few meters from his rivera in the so-called plain of Toro.

Currently, Valbusenda is a tourism complex comprising a winery, a 5-star Spa-Hotel, a vine garden and a vineyard of training - devoted exclusively to the study of different systems of plantation-offering visitors the possibility of entering the world of wine through the five senses.

Valbusenda Winery, with an area of 6,000 m2, is designed with a modern and avant-garde image. It has a spectacular roof, creating the feeling of a mirror perched on the mountain that leaves visitors unmoved.

Location

In the plain of the bull, is where Valbusenda Winery, on the banks of the Duero, forming part of the denomination of origin Toro.

Climate

Vineyards located above 700 m of altitude, with more than 3,000 hours of sunshine on average per year, the extreme climate (long cold winters, hot summers short, with large temperature differences between day and night).

Vineyard

Valbusenda produces wines with grapes from 15 has of vineyards and of the more than 80 has controlled vineyards, where the autochthonous variety Tinta de Toro is the main protagonist.

Wines

Valbusenda wines are made according to precise control of the process of maturation of the grapes, trying to harmonize the alcoholic ripening and phenolic in order to obtain the parameters suitable for the production of high quality wines.
