Cellers Can Blau began in 2003 and is one of the oldest of the Gil Family out of Jumilla.
Location
Cellers Can Blau is located in El Molar, within the D.O. Montsant, and is the most diverse grape varieties and soil types.
Montsant is a designation of origin which, currently, is probably is when giving to meet even their real potential in terms of wine quality.
Vineyards
Cellers Can Blau has 35 hectares of vines with an average age of 40 years. Works with three varieties grown in three different composition soil types: Sandy and clay to the Cariñena or Mazuelo; chalky soil for Syrah and, slate and limestone, which welcomes the Garnacha give personality and special features to the grape.
Grapes
The denomination of origin Montsant, whose territory lies within the region of Priorat in the province of Tarragona, are planted and adapted native as Cariñena or Mazuelo and Grenache varieties each of them to different floors composition. The technical direction of Cellers Can Blau is borne by Nuria López Sarroca.
