Domaine Weinbach

One of the most renowned Alsatian wineries.

Domaine Weinbach is faithful to the philosophy of minimum intervention of the vineyard, with little aggressive treatments, with a constant attention to its vineyards. The grapes are cultivated using the principles of biodynamic agriculture and ecological, avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides.

Wines fermented in a patient way in old canes of oak, in some cases even for a year. Wines are then bottled without filtration or stabilization, in order to keep all their qualities and their longevity. Some Domaine Weinbach wines are fermented in its entirety, resulting in dry wines. The winery also produces sweet wines, differentiated among themselves by their level of content in sugar, and by the presence of Botrytis cinerea. These wines are called late vintages or selection de grains Nobles and characterized by not being sweetened artificially.

Vineyards

Its 26 has spread between different Crus of the Kaysersberg Valley are cultivated varieties Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Tokay-Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
