SANGARIDA

SANGARIDA

Greek mythology tells that Attis was a handsome young man, chosen by the goddess Cybele to take care of her religious cult in exchange for swearing chastity and celibacy forever. However, Attis fell madly in love with a nymph named Sangarida and broke his oath. They kicked out Sangarida and spoke to Attis, who mutilated himself. Saddened by the event, Cybele resurrected Attis, turning him into a pine tree as a symbol of the great Mother Nature.

If you know the history of ATTIS Bodega y Viñedos, our Fariña farmers are on a new journey to know and work with a variety of authentic, artisanal and authentic wines. We are accompanied by Jean-François Hébrard, starting a new project in Bierzo that began to happen in 2019, a year and that also happened to Robustiano Fariña, Lía, which unites the roots of her father in Rías Baixas and those of her mother in El Bierzo.
