Tentenublo Wines

Roberto Oliván gives life in 2011 Tentenublo Wines, a wine project with the intention of offering different wines, moved by the passion towards the land, looking for the expression of its soils, climate and varieties in Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja. It seeks to contribute their knowledge to viticulture and revalue the vocation of a family dedicated to viticulture.

After a long career working for large firms in the wine world, Roberto decides to follow the path of the "Vigneron", with the fixing of producing great wines, as well as providing transparency to a market with some shadows.

Vineyard

Tentenublo Wines has 9 hectares of own vineyard in 26 pitches, all of which are located in Viñaspre, which highlights the altitude and the clash of the Atlantic climate and the Mediterranean. Its vineyards sit on marl limestone slopes of erosion in soils and soils of marls of red sandstone in replanos at 600 m of altitude.

Viticulture

A careful viticulture is the Foundation of every great wine-growing project, after a great dedication to the vineyard, its wines are the fruit of elaborations based on observation, smallholding, the multivarietalismo (tempranillo, garnacha, viura, malvasía and white jaen...), looking for reflect those wines with soul is drinking for 40 years in the family home, such as Xerico y Tentenublo.
