White wine made from the oldest viura vines and a selection of white vines scattered among the red vines, as it was planted 80 years ago. Fresh and serious, with botanical and mineral touches –limestone–, and wonderful finesse and volume. It is like looking at the estate and letting yourself be caught by an impression of purity and harmony.

Color and Appearance:	Pale yellow colour.
Nose / Aroma:	Elegant floral nose with aromas of oak very well integrated into the fruit.
Mouth / Flavors:	Great volume in the mouth, persistent, with pleasant acidity and great freshness and flavor. It shows fineness and aging potential and reflects well the characteristics of the soil.
Recommendations:	Temperature: 10 - 12ºC

Vintage:	2019
Ageing:	6 months in barrels on lees. The wine is stirred periodically until we decide to rack it and separate it from the lees for tasting.

Viticulture:	Santa María, 45-year-old plot (planted in 1975). Low yield: 6,400Kg/ha.

Villota Wine

The history of the Villota family dates back to the beginning of the century. After 9 decades linked generation after generation to the world of wine, the Villota family under the tutelage of Ricardo Pérez Villota separated from Contino to create their own society, giving life to unique wines, where the expressiveness of their "terroir" is their motivating law. Limited production wines, a reflection of an exceptional vineyard.

They make unique wines in their essence, purity and their own character.

Vineyard

They cultivate without herbicides, only with tenacious tillage and constant observation of the natural environment. They select the best grapes from the set of plots, deciding the optimum moment of maturation for the harvest.

Grape varieties

Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo reds. The whites Viura, Garnacha Blanca, Tempranillo Blanco and Malvasía. This diversity is our pride and the foundation of our work.
