La Calera is a unique vineyard planted free-standing that climbs the north face of a slope up to 940 meters above sea level. This vineyard was abandoned for 20 years due to the difficult access and complicated work involved in the slope of the plot and the little available soil.

Their ancestors have worked the vineyards without the use of agrochemicals, following a sustainable viticulture. Ancient techniques that sought to maintain biodiversity in the soil and respect for the environment.
All the processes were aimed at making use of energy and matter for the maintenance and regeneration of the soils that supported the family economy through integrated production.
The objective of Bodega Cerón is a regenerative viticulture that allows our vineyards to adapt to the changing climate. Not everything was written in the Jumilla Denomination of Origin.
