Alma de mar is born a few meters from the sea, in a place that several decades ago was practically covered by water. It is a wine worked on lees that were stirred regularly, which gives it that weight and volume in the mouth even though it has been vinified in concrete tanks.

Albamar is a family winery that began its journey approximately 25 years ago linked to the care of the vineyards and the production of Albariños with a unique character and special personality.
In 2006 one of the sons of the family takes over the reins of the winery; Xurxo Alba Padín dedicated body and soul to viticulture. Bodegas Albamar is located in Cambados and most of its vineyards, on the banks of the mouth of the River Umia, in the middle of the Ría de Arousa.
This environment is characterized by being of soft relief, with mainly sandy and clay soils, impregnated by the sea breezes that contribute to its vineyards and the wine results in a characteristic salinity.
The Albamar Albariño represents the Bodega's flagship. The vineyards from which they come are 25 years old, and the soils are mostly sandy near the sea, in the middle of the Ría de Arousa.
